I usually squeeze my lighter or try to take slow, deep and quiet breaths and that usually calms me down when I'm freaking out.

Oh and try to pinpoint why you're so nervous. Analyze those thoughts and ask yourself "why does this affect me so much". "Is what I'm worried about really worth freaking out over"
