I've been a member of PC for almost 3 years. This is my first experience participating in online forums and I've learned a lot. There is one thing that I have tried and tried and keep failing at. I want to learn how to quote a small passage from a post that I want to respond to.
I know there is a tutorial, and I have repeatedly tried to let it guide my steps, but I am missing something. I never succeed. This is so frustrating. I have really tried. It seems that lots of member know how to do it.
Would someone be kind and generous enough to post a step-by-step on this? It would be best, if the post contained nothing else, but just how to extract, say, a single sentence out of another member's post and get it to appear in my reply with the quote properly credited to the poster.
I know it can be tedious to try to explain something like this. If someone has the patience to help me, I would be very grateful. I've been trying, now, literally for years.
