Maybe editing out is what everyone is doing. (?) I see so many members quoting just small parts of a post. Like they quote a small part and then respond . . . and then they may quote another small part and then respond. Each time the small part appears in the indented thing with the attribution to who wrote it. I didn't think they were editing out the bulk of the post each time, though maybe they were.
