I went off lamotrigine after being on 25 mg for less than 8 weeks. Pdoc appt on Feb 24th. I couldn't take the headachey feeling and low energy. I took a bunch of bipolar meds back in 2002-2007, but I don't remember which ones were best. Geodon is definitely out (extreme restlessness). I need something that doesn't cause weight gain because I am already fat which is wreaking havoc on my knees. Anything else sounds so scary. I also have low bone density due to chemo from treatment for breast cancer (cured now ). I also have hypothyroid, so lithium is out. I do remember seroquel made me feel lousy. I think the SAD is over now that spring is coming. Still waiting to feel better (felt bad since Nov.). <SIGH> Thanks for listening.
