Unfortunately the FDA requires an expiration date of one year. It's unfortunate because you really don't know how long it is good for. So it is good for one year or more unless the expire date is less then a year. Probably it just gets weaker over time. Note that your pill bottle always has an expire date of one year but the pils have been sitting on the pharmacy shelf for an undetermined amount of time. And there is transit and storage and manufacturing... You get the idea
