I am sorry about the denial. Was this your first denial? Honestly, if you stayed away from AA and church, you could possibly get sick enough to qualify. I know before I went to AA, I was going down a very unhealthy path. I had a light yellow tint to my skin.

The judge you had obviously doesn't understand AA isn't a social organization. Social interaction does take place, but that isn't the purpose. Church is for the benefit of your spiritual growth and wellbeing. There are social benefits for you and others who go.

I guess if you stay in bed, interacting with no one, you might get the pittance they offer. I encourage you to continue going to the groups you now attend. If you need to, get an attorney to help. It will cost you some $, but you may get to keep your sanity while you wait.
