I have a problem. I am a shopaholic, and my room is dominated by an endless pile of clothes both in the closet, in hampers, in dressers, and covering more than half of the floor in my room--and don't forget all the seasonal clothes that I keep in garbage bags in the garage. I'm really getting sick of this. I can't stand all the laundry I have to do--I have so much clothes that it takes over a month for me to wear all my clothes before deciding to wash them, and then there's so much clothes to put away that I avoid putting it away.

I don't know what to do with all my clothes. I'm thinking about giving 90% of it to Goodwil or to friends, even though buying all of these clothes in the first place is expensive.

So if I do throw away my clothes, how will I go about choosing which to keep and which to throw away? There's certain clothes that have true meaning for me, and then there's clothes that look great on me. And how do I part with all of my plaid? Plaid is my favorite pattern and I have at least a dozen plaid shirts and they all look great on me. But I love all my clothes and it's so hard to choose what to keep and what not to keep.

How do I go about this?
