When I get worked up and want to hurt myself in some way, I tend to make myself cry. While I'm doing that, I tend to either write letters to people that I care about (saying how much I love them, how much I appreciate what they do,
but not suicide notes), sing to meaningful songs (for me, these would be One Direction, Nickelback, and Waiting for Superman by Daughtry), go see my girlfriend and let her hold me in her arms

, or write my own songs (I currently have four). Self-harm doesn't even slip my mind once I do these things.
