I've have had trouble sleeping for years now, but most of the time I handle it ok as I only work part-time. But over the last few days it has become pretty bad, I don't manage to sleep before 4-5 am, sometimes even later than that. I've tried herbal supplements, not catching up sleep during the day... nothing works except stealing my mom's benzos. But she stopped taking them a while ago, so I only have half a pill left and no new supply in sight.
A few months ago, my T/Pdoc said she'd rather write me a script for some proper sleeping aids, rather than having me steal benzos. But at the end of that session both of us forgot and I was doing ok until now.
Right now I'm quite desperate for sleep and wondering if I should call her on Friday and ask if I can drop by between clients just to get a script for some sleeping aids. She would be fine with me doing this if I was running out of my Prozac, but as she's never prescribed me any sleeping aids I wonder if she would be ok with it.
If I don't do that I'll see her on Monday night for skills group, but I doubt I'll manage to ask her and I don't have a private session until next friday.
