Glad u saw ur new pdoc a 2nd time I hope it went well. I see mine every three months for routine check up but I can go as a walk in or schedule as needed. I see my T weekly. I must have my talk therapy it's a must for me. I worked in mental health for a few years but I had not had my bipolar onset during those years.

My onset was in 2011 after I had a surgery and my symptoms started kicking my axx in 2012. I've been going to weekly T since. First I had to learn to accept my diagnoses. Then I felt so much hate toward my family for hiding mental illness. I also felt like God was punishing me and I still battle this feeling. I try to work on coping skills. I do relapse and that's why I keep going. I need to try harder on controlling anger.
