It's unfair, I think, to judge a whole religion by the actions of a very few. There are fanatics in every group. This person that shouted "*****" to that child could very well have been a fanatic or even worse, out of his mind! That is NOT what Christianity is about.

Before Jesus assended into heaven, he gave his disciples the Great Commision; to "Go unto all the word proclaiming the Word of God." It's up to each individual how he/she perceives that command and how they carry it out. This person obviously hadn't read where Jesus said "let the children come unto Me... for such is the kingdom of heaven."
