Hi again Desperado,
Have you tried sleeping pills to get sleep?
I focus in on that because I don't care how sane or great anyone's life is-if they go without a good night sleep for a few nights than it'll make anybody feel crazed. If you're already a little emotionally distressed to begin with than you know it's going to wreck havoc on your psychie. (sp?)
So, maybe if you make sleep the main objective for a little while? Buy lavender scented lotion and lavender scented baby powder or any smell that promotes calmness-drink chamomile tea before bed-melitonin supplements-cut out ALL caffiene products from your diet and over the counter medications-stick to a sleep schedule, wake up the same time everyday regardless of how badly you want to sleep in and try to go to bed the same time every night. Don't stay in bed if you cannot sleep-get up and go to the livingroom and read a book or take a warm bubble bath and then go back and try again. Take sleeping pills if all else fails. I take over the counter, they work well for me. Do NOT take naps during the day. Try buying a meditation tape. Even if you don't do the meditation-usually the tape/cd is so calming-it'll put you to sleep. And it'll be a bonus if you can do the meditation.
I know from experience that you need to focus in on your sleep patterns first. If you can get that much started I think you'll start feeling much better.
