After just having an...episode... I can tell you that I scared the **** out of people that I didn't think would even care. It was very weird. A few people outside of my family don't know, and I think I will keep it that way for now. But I think that there is this instincual rejection toward that sort of thing that really affects people. Going against the primal imperative of staying alive really shakes people up.

Also, failing in any attempt can leave permanent damage in many forms. Fortunately I just have to flush a few things out of my system, but still. Wouldn't it be ironic to want it to be over only to have to live out an even more terrible existence?

So yes, you would affect many people, in ways that you wouldn't even know.
