If you are not getting enough out of therapy, do not like your T's for any reason (because or them, you, whatever), I do not think spending time and money in therapy is a good idea? Therapy is a choice of tasks, like going to college or taking a particular job, marrying a particular person, etc. and it can really only work well if you want to take on that task. Otherwise you are likely to drop out and then blame yourself like there is something "wrong" with yourself or the other when it is just that it is not a good fit, not something you want enough at the time to commit to. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to do therapy!

There is nothing wrong with "running" either. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and learning to strengthen weaknesses and help strengths stay strong and limber (rather than rigid) can take time and if we only have sticks to fight with while the other guy has knives, running is a good skill to have at the moment So you get away to learn and practice your karate for awhile and then show them what you can do against their knives they're "hiding" behind, thinking they're "safe".

Therapy is good experience. But it is not the only school in which to learn that experience.
