I just want to agree with Leah. I had a therapist tell me the same thing....that if they left the practice where they were, they couldn't take clients with them as by a contract they signed.

Even if you leave that organization, she might not be able to take you back for a certain amount of time (like a year or more).

She would have known this. I don't know why she wouldn't tell you this. Pretty cruel.

You might be able to get a better answer from the organization about what happened or what their rules are.

As hard as it is, you should try to move on from this therapist. You can't make her take you back, unfortunately.
