Of course I'm taking about posts I wrote myself and that are within guidelines for both sites.

You think this is a nobrainer but I belonged to several communities in the past that really frowned upon you posting the same thing in two different locations. The reasoning was like, you should not look like you support more than one forum and if you post two same posts different places it shows (if someone happens to read both) that you are unfaithful to your forum and also are lazy enough not to always make unique posts.

Some posts that could be worth cloning could be if you have an issue or thought you want a lot of input on, and they fit both places alike, and you really worked hard on that post so you'd rather not write the same thing again in different words.

I'm not talking about constant crossposting, just a few here and there.
