I understand your nervousness about seeing a new doctor. It happens to me, too. Yes, you have to tell them what's going on, but time is always limited, so where do you start. I would guess with present symptoms. Answer the questions honestly. Your safety is most important here. If you need to be inpatient to stay safe then that's what you need to do. Things happen, plans change. I'm sure your daughter will understand and your company will just have to deal with your not being there. Do what's best for you.
