I dont think chronic fatigue is fake, but some diseases are exasperated/caused by environment. Like my eczema that I'd had since childhood cleared up when I got away from an abusive 'husband'.
Perhaps the docs believe her parents are dysfunctional.
Narcissistic parents can destroy thier own children under the guise of 'We only want the best for you'.
