I admit that we don't have all the facts but the issue here would be lets say docs decided your eczema was in fact due to a psych condition rather than giving you something to treat it they actually put you in a more stressful environment of the psych ward and expected you to get better while thinking happy thoughts all the while preventing access from your family. I'm not sure if you've been in a psych ward but they are not all conducive to healing...before being in one I figured it wouldn't be that different from being in the normal hospital but they are a whole 'nother animal entirely---I left sicker than when I went in. Had I stayed until they "fixed" me I doubt I would even be working today---the whole inpatient system is geared toward promoting failure and most people get out by lying. I wasn't even allowed to look out the window because they said it was self-harm...I didn't even have suicidal ideation but because they decided it was a bad thing I couldn't do it.
