Telling your boyfriend should help.
I told mine as soon as I did it, and he helped me get through it (even after he yelled at me for doing it after being strong for 7 1/2 weeks and not telling him what was going on). He even cleaned my cuts for me, which is very cool, considering that he gets sick around blood very easily. I find it very addiciting myself, but not near as addicting as my sexual role-play addiction. I'm not going to start on that now, but both things, as I mentioned, are very addicting to me.
