I take Abilify, but I also take Lamictal. I can't recall if the Abilify was for anxiety or depression. Both my previous psychiatrist (who diagnosed me with depression) and my current psychiatrist (who diagnosed me with bi-polar) put me on it, so...

I think the trick is to find the combination of drugs that works for you. And it's tricky. It's taken a few years for me to find a good combination: Abilify, Lamictal, and Concerta. I hate changing meds and hope I don't have to again for a long time because it always messes with my stability - sometimes drastically.
