I always go through swings when I change meds. Even when they end up being a good combo it doesn't often feel that way for the first week or two. Mental health drugs seem to be that way - slow.

Too bad you don't like the psychiatrist. They're supposed to be the ones to go to about drug reactions so they can adjust things for you. It's important to keep them in the loop. Mine sometimes gets a little paranoid when I bring up something. I take Lamictal which you may know can cause a rash which is BIG trouble, very serious. I got frostnip which cause blisters that looked like a rash and he really got worried. Luckily it was frostnip. He worries more than I do.

Maybe you should switch psychiatrists?
