The problem with tactile is that in the past I have unintentionally hurt myself while trying to stop them in the past. And the ones I've been having recently happen all over.

Definitely don't hurt yourself maybe try something like putting you hand in jello of play dough or something weird maybe even blindfold yourself to focus more on feeling things and trying to ID them around the house...I was actually thinking about starting sort of a cabinet of curiosities for this very thing....maybe try rubing an ice cube over yourself...what would be cool is learning Braille because that would require touch and concentration and you'd be learning something too.
