From a layman, absolutely the change in seasons will change your sleep patterns. For me I notice this in the Fall and Winter. I want to sleep more hours so I have to make an effort to go to bed and get up at the same time. For me, easier said than done. Also, it is getting brighter in the AM, you may want to fix your window coverings to block out all light.
