Yeah I read that in her book too but I just don't think there are many people who've been in the hospital in both countries so it's hard to tell by comparison and that was much longer ago as well. I guess one of things I don't understand is that they tend to use physical restraints and then give an injection on top of it...but leave you in restraints...to my mind using one argues against the use of the other although I think neither should be allowed without trying other calming tactics first this is like cops just shooting people or animals because they can you know...one of the solutions to this problem for cops is mandating video recorders and while I think there could be some terrible breaches of privacy if cameras were widely used in hospitals it might be an effective deterrant for the staff who just don't want to be bothered to talk to someone and find out what's wrong.
