I think the hardest part of all this would be to say those verses back to them with a sweet spirit. If all parties are being nasty, it won't help a thing.

Your being able to speak truth to them, from their own Word Of God will make an effect upon them, perhaps not immediately ,but God promises His Word never returns void.
