I am seeing a surgeon this Thursday for fusion to sciatic joint in left hip. I have 2 braces that I wear just about all the time.
Friday night I walked out on deck, slid on ice and fell down three steps. I landed on my left hip area- of course. I was able to get back into the house-this took about 15 minutes to get 15 feet.
I was assisted up to my bedroom where I have been for two days now. My b/f says I should just wait to see my surgeon this Thursday....but I am in intense pain whenever I move. It is a chore to even get up and sit down. I am only moving to get to the bathroom, which takes about 15 minutes to do....what should I do? is there any way out? I am already on pain pills...I don't know if ER can do anything....and I cant sit there for 8 to 10 hours and then be sent home, since this will definitely affect my depression and other problems...I don't see a way out. I am sitting here alone and in pain. sorry to bother and am sorry if I shouldn't post this....don't know what to do....
