I'd ask. Are you sure that it was a total delete and not just a very limited privacy setting? That really sucks. I've had someone do that to me... where they accepted my friend request and then deleted me after a few days! It hurts.
And your T should know better. If nothing else, she should have sent you a message apologizing for accidentally clicking "add friend" and for creeping on you!
