Recently I cut my ankle very deeply. Luckily my girlfriend is very good with first aid and it's healing well now, no longer scabbing, starting to form a scar. It's on the inside of my right ankle about a inch or so above the actual ankle bone and it's about 4 inches long. the skin below the cut to the ankle bone is pretty numb, has been since the injury, and also feel slightly swollen. I also feel pain in the tendon of the front of my ankle sometimes. I don't think that I severed anything important but when I apply pressure on a certain spot of the scar, I feel a strange sensation on the arch of my foot.

Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to any permanent damage I may have done. When I first made the cut and it opened up, all I saw was blood and fat, but these feelings I've been having make me think I may have injured a nerve or something.
