I hear you about the tens machine and it is great while on. Once off, the muscles seem to tighten up again and there goes the pain. Ugggh.
I've tried chiropractic many years ago. There was a couple of specific issues I went for with my cervical spine that I found helpful and also to get my legs back in alignment when one went shorter than the other and that worked well too. I'm not too keen on going back again though.
I don't know anything about reflexology or biofeedback, never done them. Would love to try acupuncture! I have a friend who swears by it and it gives them relief for almost 2 weeks at a time.
