I respectfully disagree with the above response.

There are a few things to consider....

Zoophilia is a sexual attraction to animals....(sometimes defined to include bestiality)...Which, on the surface, could be mostly harmless. However, IMHO, it's a dangerous attraction...a slippery slope if you will.

Bestiality is sex with animals.....Illegal in most countries. And, for the welfare of the animals, a highly dangerous practice. It's a deviant behavior that, IMHO, needs to be treated.

A "furry" is most frequently a person who enjoys identifying with animals and connects so closely with them that they spend time dressing up like them.....kinky, but harmless.
Also, in the sexual sense, someone who enjoys having sex with someone who exhibits behaviors of, and/or dressing up as an animal. Also kinky and harmless.
(Harmless being a very subjective idea, but I use it in a sexually consensual way)
