I dunno. They gave me ambien once and I had to take three for them to work. I was having horrible anxiety at the time though that could have ate through any drug. a couple of months ago they gave me Lunesta but it didn't do a thing for me. It is like ambien. It was expensive too.
I believe they do have extended release ambien for what is happening to you. It releases half later in the night to keep you asleep. What other meds are you on?
