Vitamin D and calcium are important not only for bone strength, but it is very important for the nervous system. It has also been suggested that most psych meds will reduce the blood serum level of calcium/vit d. At least that is what my pdoc and gp have told me.

My calcium and vitamin D levels are also low.

Diet and exercise can improve your cholesterol w/o medications.
