She is Not a friend. She is concerned with the opinions (real or imagined, and certainly immature) of someone else.
Don't let someone have you as an invisible friend. This is not fair to you, you are worth a Whole lot more.
And boy, do some of the things people care about in school sure look stupid a few years after graduation....
