The funeral is today. I think people's patience with me (friend-wise) is growing thin because I'm not really close to my extended family. Maybe they think I shouldn't feel this sad about her death ... a loss is a loss is a loss, I'm trying to say.

I wish I could go the funeral. Instead today I'm getting a mentor/teacher/friend of mine to help me write a letter of condolences to my uncle. I don't know what to say because I'm so scared everyone is upset at me for not contacting sooner.

Oh well, nothing to be done.
