Medicaid is messy and it seems they ( Governors of State are dragging their feet after accepting funds from the Federal gov )
All you can do is what is best for your health right now and that means stay on medicaid for 1014.
If you and your girlfriend are soulmates are to be forever, then continue on as is for now.
