You sure CAN hold your p-doc responsible for practicing bad medicine! Absolutely. Because if you don't follow your p-doc's treatment plan, if you DARE to say NO, you will be labeled as "noncomplient".
It sounds like you had a rotten psychiatrist. Good for you for firing him, and for letting him know why you've made the decision to see another p-doc.
