I've been there also...in ICU in a coma on life support an OD I did in the hospital as they were writing my discharge because i was no longer a danger to myself.

Interesting as the years passed no longer remember anniversary date..& no enlightenment occured until i finally left the environment that was causing me to feel that way...an enlightenment i didn't even realize existed at the time.

I am so glad that you got through that alive & ha e the chance to make your life better....oh the beauty of Sedona...how inspiring..i enjoyed it one Thanksgiving week hiking around the indian ruins in the snow.,driving on every off road trail my jeep could find & a beautiful relaxing hot air balloon ride over the area...I can see how you find a feeling of peace.

It's only been a few years ago after leaving that bad 33 year marriage that I have found my peace through my relationship with Christ.

Life is difficult...but when we fail to end it with our own will there is usually a purpose we haven't been able to see at the time...for me it was protecting my mother from an evil home are person when she was dying of cancer & being freed from the bad marriage so I could be free to discover my relationship with Christ...almost 10 years later.
