I would say a lot depends on what kinds of tests they may run. There may be tests that will need to be scheduled on a different day, obviously these will take longer to get results. Each doctor is different and it depends on what they suspect is wrong. Sorry I can't give you more encouraging news about finding a diagnosis on the first appointment. They may be able to give you an idea after first seeing you.
