I'm so sorry your Dad is sick. Everything about us seems to change when our parents become ill. It might be that just sitting with your Dad and watching one of his favorite tv shows will be enough. Saying something like, "I know you don't feel good Dad. Is there something special I can do for you?", might help.
I hope he feels better very, very soon.
