Circadian Rhythm Disorder...I saw a specialist about it but that's not my only bug sooo...I unfortunately ignored the situation and further appointments.
For years I slept 3/5 hrs a day mostly[broken sleep] with scattered dips to 2hrs and maxing at 10 or 12. [rare] Depended on mood swings.
Since I stopped smoking last summer my sleep has improved to a noticeable degree. Still Circadian cursed but getting a fairly consistent 6hrs with peaks and valleys not so dramatic as before. I chug along well on six...and don't wake as often either. Mood problems can still trump the improvement at times but overall I'm ahead.
