Welcome to PC and Congrats on the new job!

Change is never easy but I have found in the past that concentrating on the moment, and staying in the present helps to ease the pains of what was to embrace what is happening now. Focusing more on the tasks and the people, I found I had less time to think about the past. It helped to open my eyes to the advantages and disadvantages of the new place to better adjust and work in the system and with the new people. There will always be comparisons, even decades later I find I do it with previous positions to new ones. It is grounded in what we know and all we have to go by, but just make sure not to miss out on what is happening now by spending too much time pining for the past.

They will never be the same, always different in their own right even in the same field as company culture is so different from one place to the next. It is more a matter of can you fit with their culture in a way that you can accept and that, do these changes you are finding with them fit you personally and professionally? Unfortunately only in time will you know, and with better results if embraced.

Good luck with your new job; I hope you find it as rewarding and fulfilling as your last position, if not more so!!!
