is there any chance at all that he's exaggerating what he's feeling while on the abilify to strengthen a reason to go off it? he made us believe that it wasn't working. There's no way he was exaggerating yesterday. I'm worried because he was put on 10 mg to start. Where my husband is titrating up and just went to 5 mg.
I wonder why he was so opposed to even trying the Abilify though? I don't think they gave him a choice whether or not to change. He liked the seriquol and he's adverse to change.
what was the reason for the switch? I honestly don't know I wasn't there. I think it was to condence his psych meds to one a day. If he did well on the abilify it would replace both the seriquol and lamictal. I know my husband asked for the change because he didn't like my son looking drugged at night if he fought his sleep.
