Well, as promised, i am keeping you all up to date on my music progression.

i had a singing lesson today, lesson no.6 i believe. i sang 3 songs, and 1 of them being "Nothing Compares To You" by Sinead O'Connor. my vocal tutor is so happy with my progression and voice, that she wants me to begin recording next week. she told me that she wouldnt ask this of any of her other students, but she feels i am ready.

it is my birthday in a month, on the 4th of April, and on the 18th of March is Mothering Sunday. "Nothing Compares To You" was played at my mums funeral, so i would like to have it finished before then. to me it feels like a gift. i dont think it will be finished for Mothers day, but it will be only 1, maybe 2 weeks afterwards.

so, what this means, is that by the end of this month, i will have the first recorded song under my belt, and of course, i will let you ALL hear it. i will keep you informed as to the progress of it, but my tutor is very confident we will have it done soon, definately by my birthday, it may be one or two weeks after Mothers day, but who knows...
