Before anything else, I should mention that I'm a straight guy, happily with my missus of nearly 3 years.

With that being said, a hobby of mine for years has been to wear high-heeled boots. I think they're really comfy and look fantastic, as well as doubly making my legs look great. I feel great when I wear them, and I really don't see why more guys don't wear them. Granted it's out of the ordinary, but I don't believe there's any such thing as being a crossdresser at all - it's just a society-given label that is a very uneducated one at best and in this day and age we should be past immature and uneducated labels.

At the risk of contradicting myself; going out into public wearing a pair of my boots is still a scary thought and I'd hate to be ridiculed in front of people. I really want to stand up for what I believe in, which is doing whatever makes you happy regardless of what other people want to say about it, but it gives me the shakes just thinking about being made fun of in public.

I'm trying to work up the courage to go out into a public place wearing my boots, probably under some jeans to begin with rather than have a set of knee highs on show, just to get the feel for wearing them and getting used to it being no different than wearing ordinary shoes.

Does anybody have any advice? I really want to overcome this fear of being ridiculed so I can do something that plenty of other people do, albeit women.

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!
