I've read that the average onset is very early and from reading the I posts I can see. I'm a very unique s or me situation was. I had a hysterectomy (age 36, 2012) and began very depressed after. I cried all the time so I was put on a low dose of Celexa. Then I was not better so it was increased. Afterward I started swing into being angry or crying. I was changed to Cybala but it was too strong and made me sleep all day. I was put back on Celexa (60MG) and sent to a therapist. I was diagnosed with Adjust disorder (D.O.) and therapist agreed. I began getting worse I madder than ever all my depression was gone. I was a ball of fire. I went for a second opinion and found out I was misdiagnosed AND Celexa puts people with bipolar 1 into mania. This On August 01, 2012 I was correctly diagnosed, taken off the wrong medication and put on the correct medication. My first major episode was in early June 2013. I had a very bad mixed episode, was homicidical and had to be hospitalized. The next month the exact same thing happened. I've also suffered psychosis and it was something I would not wish on anyone. Being filled with rage and having the instinct to be homicidal is scary.
