My T reminds me from time to time if I am not in a great mood don't log into Facebook. You have be careful about how personally to take it. There's a tendency to read way more into a post than what is intended. If you are not in a great place it is probably going to make you feel worse.

It is a good place to catch up with friends but I don't expect too much information unless I pm. There are a few old friends I have visited as a result of connecting on Facebook but necessarily people I would have expected. I don't know your age but I have found as I reached my mid 20's and beyond friends come and go much more easily. I think you are more focused on your career and/or family and your priorities and interests change. Your personality is more defined too. There is nothing personal and it isn't a reflection on you. In fact now that I am older I have found my high school friends whom I haven't socialized with in years are the most supportive and interact with me the most on Facebook.
