Each person reacts differently to each med. A med could make someone manic while the same pill makes someone else depressed. It is much a trial-and-error for the doc when he puts someone on a new med because he also has no idea how that person will react on that med. This is one reason why it is so very important to TALK to your doc. If you do not tell him how you feel then he will never know how you feel.
