Hypomania can "mess" with my sex drive, and there are times when I've experienced what you've described, Tigersassy. I don't like getting too touchy-feely with my boyfriend, and when he's being affectionate, it just feels clingy to me. At other times, I have hypersexuality associated with hypomanic episodes -- my urges might be directed at my partner, or other people (in which case, I have to try and keep myself in check).
