OK, I got the feedback today. I told the tutor to look at my "improved" design so that I didn't have to look at the last piece of crap that got me 33% only. He still suggested improvements to the design. And also, he told me exactly where I lost marks. I didn't even do the parts of the coursework I was told to do. How blind was I?!

And as I expected, I could not get a re-mark for coursework. But the tutor did say that for the second coursework, the part of the design that is required to get the marks for the coursework doesn't have to be the same as that which I submitted in the first place.
